Dr. Eric English is an economist who has conducted numerous economic valuation studies for environmental policy analysis and natural resource damage assessment. He has developed many of the methods currently in use for the assessment of damages associated with impacts to recreation from oil spills and chemical releases under the U.S. Oil Pollution Act and Superfund laws. Dr. English has published and lectured on the econometrics and theory of environmental choice and compensation for environmental harm.
